MAL 3:3 And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
MT 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
The Good Shepherd will gather His sheep. We can call that revival, but the world does not love us for that but hates and persecutes. Those who will stand up firmly will get saved: MT 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

God is for You but will not force his hand on You. Yes God already knows the end of all things but somewhere in his vast wisdom he has seen fit to offer us freedom of choice in his great love. So now we stand at our daily crossroads God's way or Satan's way. With the knowledge of good and evil that we chose to possess, and all now have, comes the responsibility of choice, Good or evil. This responsibility we can never live up to. We are corrupted and so always allow evil to break forth. And so Jesus came and suffered, almighty God suffered and died. He made the decisions for us took on evil at its root and strongest point and evil was defeated. Jesus has done the work for You. Accept Jesus Christ and you will not need to overcome evil, sin and death yourself. Your wrongs he has paid for. All the quiet evil in your heart he knows about and has paid for himself. Jesus will love you and live within you by his Spirit. Jesus will cause your spirit to be reborn, you will be a new person. And yes we all are still influenced by evil thoughts and desires, and yes we all still do wrong things but now there is another way to live and not just live but to be free from the grip of evil. Free from the compulsion to do wrong when we know there is a better way, free from the compulsion to settle for a mediocre, average, comfortable western life when God has planned for us a righteousness life of freedom with him.
God is intimately involved with You
He knows YOU not just in a general way but in a personal and intimate manner.
You see: He had YOU on His mind before the foundation of the world.
Knowing this it must necessarily follow that God was intimately involved in all of the details regarding YOUR life:
He chose the time of YOUR birth.
He chose the place of YOUR birth.
He chose YOUR family.
He chose YOUR gender.
He chose YOUR personality.
He chose YOUR abilities.
He chose the things YOU are to accomplish for Him.
Let me prove it to you from God's Word.
“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight”.
Ephesians 1:4
“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”.
Ephesians 2:10
David describes God's intimate involvement in YOUR creation: “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth.”. Psalm 139:14-15

Who are You?
Recently I read Jeremiah 1.5 where God speaks to Jeremiah and tells him: "Before I formed you in your mother's womb I knew you. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world." What an awesome thing to consider - that God had planned things for Jeremiah from before his conception. At first we can answer questions about this and ponder the significance of the ability of Jeremiah to either accept or reject his 'call' and 'appointment' from God, but we can also consider that this knowledge become Jeremiah's anchor through the difficult days when everyone rejected the message he had to bring and the counsel he shared as they enquired of him. For forty years Jeremiah spoke God's word to the people of Israel - many things he spoke about came true within his lifetime, but there was no great revival or turning to God. Yet he maintained his faith in God and persisted in doing what he knew God had given him to do. He did not become an 'robot' just blindly obeying God. He became passionate in his attempts to rescue his people from the inevitable disaster of their ways.
It is always uncomfortable to be challenged about what we are doing in our life - we don't ever want to feel that someone else has any rights to dictate what we do or believe or say and yet every day we fall into the trap of either trying to please others, or trying to do things which show that we do not care about others.
Jeremiah could have just walked away from his conversation with God and said 'Yeh! Not likely! Find someone else to do that!!' If he had he would have missed out on the whole purpose for his birth! I wonder if I have been fulfilling God's plans for me? How about you?

God's language
Pray in tongues. You will find your Spirit is able to communicate the things of God to God much more than you can with your mind and your language. Praying in tongues brings in intimacy with God. Pray in tongues that no one but You and God can hear and understand. You are speaking his language, a gift he has given you to fellowship with him. Do not doubt but use Your gift of tongues..everywhere you go and in everything you do. You will find that prayer is no longer boring, simply asking and receiving, simply well known Christian phrases and themes, but prayer becomes living water. You were made to know God. Praying in tongues will bring you into a closer relationship with Him.

Falling tears
'..Though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.' 1 Peter 1:6-7
I suffer grief today, I am sad Lord. You know my trial, you allow it and have brought it for Your good purpose. Help me to endure, help me not to fade away and to forget You. Keep me strong in those dark, agonising, painful and fustrating times. Keep me faithful to the truth I now know.
Is is easy to be angry and let my emotion control. It is easy to find solutions in the world around me, to get my 'quick-fix' of sin, but the sadness would remain.
Lord I will wait for You to change things. Lord I will cling to Your truth. I will be faithful and wait for Your promise. The day You lift my head, the day that faith, love, hope and compassion are recognised and fulfilled. On that day I will be content, forever with my God, clothed in white, known by name, loved beyond earthly love.

Recent weeks.
I would just like to say how much I have been blessed by our meetings together in recent weeks. It is exciting how God is speaking to our Church at the moment and what he is doing for each of us. Our worship times have been really special to me and I have really sensed the Lord's presence and blessing over our meetings. The word particularly since we have started looking at Revelation has been anointed and inspired and it is great that God is drawing us together and to know more of him. Praise God!

Lord I thankyou for your faithfulness to me. I thankyou for your provision and that you have never let me down. You guide very step if I let you, you mold every thought... if I were to allow you. I worship you because you are God almighty. You reminded me today Lord of the attitude of heart you desire of me. When you first came to earth you preached "repent" and I turn around now and remember you and the high calling that you have placed on my life in love.
