Pursuing God in our day

Lord Jesus sometimes this busy life I lead takes me far from you. And yet Lord you are not far away. Lord you live in me, closer than my very heart beart. Lord my desire is to know you more, to know the fulness of You in my life. To live fully under the covenant of love you chose to make and not go my own way. Lord as I live each day teach me step by step your ways. Show me in small steps who you are, as that is all I can handle. Lord I long for You, may I always long for you. May we as a Church always be hungry for you. Pursuing God in our day appears to be harder than ever. Demands of life drive on ever faster and crowd out the voice of Your Holy Spirit. How much do we miss out on in our eagerness and our business. Quieten Your Church, quieten and humble City Church that we may hear the leading of the Holy Spirit, that we may hear Jesus Christ.
